Integrated Management

With a view of increase of activity effectiveness regarding fulfillment of the contractual obligations towards its customers,  In 1999 JSC Atomstroyexport  established the quality management system (QMS). In 2003 it was certificated on conformity to ISO 9001:2000 standard and is successfully functioning. This system was established on the basis of the quality assurance programs under concrete projects as the documents, which are mandatory developed for obligatory licensing according to the Law of the Russian Federation “About use of atomic energy”.

In 2008 on the basis of IAEA safety guides GS-R-3 (series “IAEA safety standards for protection of people and environment”) the decision was taken to create  the integrated quality management system by including the documents therein developed according to the requirements of the international standards (IS) ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007. The development proceeded from the legislative and normative requirements in force in nuclear engineering industry. Thus, the integrated quality management system is the integrated management system as it represents uniform frameworks for realization of organizational measures and processes necessary for fulfillment of all JSC Atomstroyexport’s objectives, including safety, health, preservation of the environment, protection of the personnel and population, quality and economic aspects.

In May, 2009 the integrated management system (IMS) was successfully certificated on conformity to the requirements of the international standards ИСО 9001:2008, 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.

In 2010-2011 the Company successfully passed two IMS regulatory audits by the certification body “Veritas Certification Bureau”. Results of the regulatory audits confirm, that the integrated management system applied at construction, reconstruction and modernization of nuclear power plants, nuclear facilities, heat power facilities, hydraulic protective facilities covers management of designing, equipment procurement and manufacture, civil and erection works, commissioning works, putting into operation, guarantee operation, training of foreign customer’s personnel, and also carrying out of required export-import transactions, is successfully introduced and effectively functions. The auditors stated that IMS strong points include diversification of JSC Atomstroyexport’s activity, risk management propagation on industrial operations not only of the Company but also of its subcontractors, as well personnel preparation level, concentrated activities on preservation of the environment, professional health and safety, system of suppliers’ assessment.

In January, 2011 the next audit by JS “Slovenske Elektrarne” with the purpose of acknowledgement of JSC Atomstroyexport accreditation in the list of suppliers was successfully completed at JSC Atomstroyexport. As the auditors noted the audit results allow to prolong accreditation of the Company as per the highest rating.
